Any crit would help greatly. Second in my series of Evanescence illustrations.

This image I have been developing for a few months now and its original lyrics I had been working to were 'Snow White Queen' but the Evanmeisters decided to release a video holding pretty much most of the imagery I was using so I've changed some stuff around to match the song and video(I knew some smart arse would probably comment on it looking like the lithium vid anyway). I have kept some imagery from the previous design such as the being trapped in a snow glode, which holds the image. I thought it was an interesting idea. This is also why the hair, lace and dress is moving how it is (underwater). I have had mixed feed back from people about this. It is mostly liked but one person who is going un-named thought it looked like the sea witch from the Little Mermaid...
Figure reference taken from photographs I have taken of my sis. Hope people like it.

This is going to be my last submisson before Christmas so I wish you all a great Crimbo and an even better New Year!

I love the colours you've used here, they really sap the life out of this but give it so much more meaning. The way you've stylised the trees really works with the deadness of it all.
The patches of blue you have on the tress really add another layer into it, I think you could have gotten away with using that more, perhaps for the whole background.
I think you don't really need that piece of hair covering the face. Also the hands need some of that delicacy the branches have. The pieces of dress that are coming out of the frame on either side look like pointy tentacles, I think these could be softened to go with the rest of the dress which looks quiet fluffy and smooth.
The format you've chosen is working very nicely, it really centres on the figure.

I see no problem in this at all, If i saw it in a cd sleeve, i'd think it was great and probably wish I could draw that kind of detail

Spend 18 hours on a drawing and the detail justs oooooozzes into it haha. I'm glad you think its good enough for an actual CD cover. All I see is all the stuff I've messed up on when I look.
